Bayer CropScience Explores One World to Grow On at Farm Progress Show

Bayer CropScience will explore One World to Grow On at the 2012 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. The companys exhibit features a novel and holistic approach to help growers identify ways to maximize harvest outcomes next season and for years to come.

 

At Bayer CropScience, everything starts with local insight, says David Hollinrake, vice president of Agricultural Commercial Operations marketing for Bayer CropScience. We dig deep into the issues farmers face every day like increasing agricultural productivity, protecting resources and ensuring healthy harvests. Exploring these issues provided the key insights for our new exhibit, One World to Grow On.

 

Based on a comprehensive industry research project, Bayer CropScience identified four pivotal decision-making times that serve as the foundation for the One World to Grow On platform. These key events are Plan for Success, Establish a Healthy Crop, Maintain the Potential and Successful Harvest.

 

We told the story in reverse, starting at the successful harvestthe outcome were all striving for, says Hollinrake. From there, visitors went back through all the decisions that led to a establishing a healthier crop.

 

At each exhibit, which represents a pivotal point in the growing season, Bayer CropScience experts will consults with growers about the decisions that most affect harvest outcomes and offer solutions for improvement.
